About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Drives Generic sales in a targeted group of accounts.
  • Achieves monthly sales/activity goals established in conjunction with department manager.
  • Monitors and analyzes reports and data to measure profitability growth of PRxO generics.
  • Demonstrates meticulous follow-through when interacting with customers.
  • Updates existing customers on new programs, promotional activity, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborates with Field Sales to create account-specific strategies.
  • Develops a deep understanding of customer needs through dialogue.
  • Partners with Corporate Generics team to implement a consistent PRxO approach.
  • Supports and executes individual programs to drive PRxO sales.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to Corporate Generics team.
    Requirements
  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, sales, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires minimum of four (4) plus year's directly related experience.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
  • Must have 2 years phone/call center experience.
  • Ability to adjust to daily product/procedure changes.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships/committed to customer satisfaction.
  • Competent understanding of sales management, sales planning and goal setting, successful strategic and Challenger selling techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Ability to interpret customer financial data and develop successful strategies.
  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information.
  • Strong creativity skills; focused and disciplined.
  • Competent understanding of Customer Value Chain.
  • Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs.
