- Job Title:GIS Technician Job Description The candidate will be responsible for data mining, working with large file structures, geometric fixes, and orthorectification. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong experience in geospatial technologies. Responsibilities Conduct data mining and manage large file structures efficiently. Perform geometric fixes to ensure accuracy of geospatial data. Execute orthorectification processes to improve data quality. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Essential Skills Proficiency in ArcGIS software. Degree in Geography. Experience in feature extraction and geospatial technologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Advanced knowledge in geospatial data management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Work Environment The work environment is an office setting with open seating accommodating 80-100 people. You will work independently and can dress in a laid-back manner such as jeans and a t-shirt, or business casual if preferred. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with the option to work four 10-hour shifts if it better suits your schedule Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
