Job Description
I am creating a glass-based light sculpture and need a specialist who can turn my concept sketches into an accurate AutoCAD model and run detailed optical simulations that predict how the light will behave once installed. The sculpture relies on carefully controlled refraction through multiple glass elements, so every surface, thickness and curvature must be represented precisely in the CAD file and the simulation. Hereβs what I need: β’ A clean, well-layered AutoCAD 3D model of the entire piece, including all glass components, LED or laser light sources, and supporting structure.
β’ Full optical/path-tracing simulations (TracePro, Zemax, LightTools, or a similar engine of your choice) showing how light enters, refracts, and finally projects caustic patterns onto the surrounding walls and floor. β’ High-resolution renders plus the native simulation file so I can iterate later. β’ A concise PDF report summarising refractive indices used, incident angles, energy distribution, and any geometry tweaks you recommend for optimal visual impact. If you have past work with glass optics or light-based installations, Iβd love to see it when you respond.
