Conduct thorough and ongoing monitoring of 3M's global operations to identify potential areas of non-compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Develop and implement effective controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Conduct regular audits and testing of controls to evaluate their effectiveness and identify any gaps or deficiencies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all processes and controls are documented and properly maintained.
Provide guidance and training to employees on SOX requirements and best practices for compliance.
Participate in the planning and execution of the annual SOX testing program.
Identify and report any potential risks or issues related to SOX compliance to management.
Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support for SOX audits.
Stay up-to-date on changes to SOX regulations and ensure that 3M's compliance practices are updated accordingly.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance SOX compliance.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all SOX-related activities and documentation.
Communicate with stakeholders and management regarding the status of SOX compliance and any potential issues or concerns.
Uphold a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to SOX compliance as assigned by management.
