Job Description

Arm is seeking a Graduate Design Tooling Engineer to join their System IP team. The role involves developing innovative design methodologies and collaborating with various teams to enhance design efficiency and automation. Responsibilities Develop custom solutions to render RTL that aligns with our architecture requirements Implement new methodologies and tooling alongside industry standard EDA and design tools Create innovative solutions to drive efficiency, automation and flexibility for our design team Skills Hold (or are on track to hold) a degree or equivalent experience by August 2026. This can be a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have meaningful experience Knowledge of hardware design and design principles Deep interest in computer architecture as demonstrated by academic or research projects Understanding of modern EDA tools and logic design fundamentals Demonstrated skills in quality coding, scripting, software development Proficient with scripting languages like Python, Perl, Ruby, etc. and competence with Unix/Linux, shells, and Makefiles Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as AMBA CHI or equivalent Coursework/project experience in complex VLSI design through PPA optimization cycle for multiple design cycles Knowledge of topics including transaction ordering, virtualization, MMUs, cache coherence Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills Benefits Competitive salary and comprehensive rewards package Support, autonomy and opportunity to excel in your career Mid-year, and year-end review Grad-teach-Grads workshops Guest speaker series Various social events Exclusive Global Graduate Conference (GGC) Company Overview Arm’s foundational technology is defining the future of computing.
