The Dissentient Initiative is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit focused on early intervention, mental health support, and public safety resilience. We are seeking a Grant Writer to support our Lead Grant Writer / Team Lead in researching opportunities and preparing grant proposals.
- Responsibilities
- Research foundation and institutional grant opportunities
- Assist with drafting proposals and letters of inquiry
- Help refine boilerplate language and program descriptions
- Support tracking of deadlines and submission requirements
- Qualifications
- Experience with nonprofit grant writing or strong writing/research ability
- Clear, concise communication skills
- Interest in mental health, prevention, or public safety
- Comfort collaborating closely with a team lead
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
