Job Description
Odoo is an open-source enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform that helps companies manage and streamline their operations. They are hiring GTM Account Executives to join their North America Partnerships team, focusing on generating new business by identifying and engaging potential partners.
Responsibilities
- Act as a closer by communicating the value of the partnership, guiding prospects through the evaluation process, addressing objections, and driving deals to close
- Handle the initial introduction call, communicate the partnership's value, maintain a healthy pipeline to close deals, and meet daily and monthly KPIs and metrics
- Work closely with the BDR responsible for booking appointments and act as a coach to support their development
- Maintain prospect data and activity records in our CRM and other tools
- Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas through accurate forecasting, effective pipeline management, and advancing deals to closure within projected timelines
- Analyze strategic changes and report key metrics by extracting data, analyzing trends, and creating dashboards in Odoo software for managerial reporting
- Collaborate with future partners to understand their needs and design tailored implementation packages
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a business-related field) or equivalent education and experience
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in an SDR/BDR or similar role with outbound sales and cold calling, and a strong desire to grow into full-cycle sales
- Strong awareness of software and new technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Curiosity about business operations
- Balances a serious approach to work with camaraderie, fostering a playful and friendly atmosphere among colleagues
- Experience with accounting, manufacturing, inventory, CRM, POS, and/or E-commerce software
- SaaS or PaaS pre/post-sales experience
- Intrinsic motivation and curiosity to learn more about business owners and their businesses
