About the Role
At Performance Food Group, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service and support. As a Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods from our warehouses to our customers' locations.
Responsibilities:
Ā Load and unload products using heavy machinery, taking care to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
Ā Drive trucks through various routes, following established schedules and timelines to meet customer expectations.
Ā Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including any issues or concerns that may arise during transit.
Ā Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles to prevent mechanical issues and ensure optimal performance.
Ā Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road, prioritizing the well-being of both yourself and others.
Ā Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues and supervisors, fostering an open line of communication to resolve any operational challenges that may arise.
