Job Title: HEDIS Coordinator (Remote – Healthcare Support)

Pay Range: $18–$19/hr (W2)
Location: Remote – must reside outside of CT, DC, HI, NM, OH, PA, SD, TN, WV
Type: Contract – 6+ months (potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PT/MT preferred

About the Role:
We’re seeking detail-oriented, computer-savvy healthcare professionals for a fully remote HEDIS Coordinator opportunity. You’ll support medical record retrieval efforts to help drive quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare system.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Call provider offices and hospitals to request medical records
  • Fax requests and conduct follow-up calls as needed
  • Document progress in internal tracking tools and software
  • Coordinate with medical reviewers and leads to manage workload
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and report on project data
  • Conduct research using claims and provider information systems
  • Maintain secure, organized records and follow compliance protocols
  • Perform other administrative support tasks as needed
    Required Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years of healthcare customer service experience (required)
  • Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Office and Excel)
  • Comfortable navigating multiple software tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Professional phone etiquette and clear documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a quiet, secure remote environment
  • Must be able to hard-wire into a router (Wi-Fi not supported)
    Nice to Have:
  • Experience with medical records/release of information
  • Prior work in provider relations, clerical support, or outreach roles
  • Familiarity with Right Fax, Adobe Standard, or similar tools

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Location Requirements:
You must not reside in: CT, DC, HI, NM, OH, PA, SD, TN, or WV
Preference for candidates located in Pacific or Mountain Time Zones

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.95 - $30.04 per hour
