Job Summary:
As a High-Dosage Tutoring Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide academic support to selected students in a classroom setting. You will deliver individualized and small group instruction, track student progress, and collaborate with educators to determine effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement targeted interventions
- Maintain required documentation of services provided (up to 19 hours/week)
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
- Support the Lamar County School District's mission and values
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Passing scores on the "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Required references and background check
