Required Skills and Qualifications • Excellent command of English, including medical grammar and syntax • Strong knowledge of U.S. medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation • High typing speed with exceptional attention to detail • Proficiency with medical transcription software, EHR/EMR systems, and word-processing tools • Ability to accurately understand diverse physician dictation styles and accents • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently • Reliable internet connection and secure home office setup Experience • Minimum 2–5 years of professional medical transcription experience required • Prior experience working with U.S.-based healthcare providers is strongly preferred • Experience in acute care, specialty clinics, or hospital transcription is an advantage • Certification in medical transcription is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates
