Position Overview:

Our partner school in Chester, PA is seeking a dynamic, certified Health and Physical Education Teacher to serve our high school students for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires strong classroom leadership, effective instructional practices, and a commitment to student growth and wellness.

Full time: 35 hours/week
August 2025 - June 2026
Caseload: High school Students
Health and PE Teacher

Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in both health and physical education to high school students.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards, incorporating formative assessments and differentiated instruction.
Demonstrate deep content knowledge and effective instructional skills.
Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment with strong behavior and classroom management.
Utilize appropriate resources and materials to support student learning.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to support student success.
Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students during activities.

Active teaching certification in Health and Physical Education (or eligibility for an Emergency Teaching Permit with a Bachelor’s degree).
Experience working in a school setting—high school experience preferred.
Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a safe, productive learning environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum standards, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
Must complete and pass all Pennsylvania required clearances (Act 34, Act 151, Act 114, etc.).

Prior experience teaching high school Health and PE.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with students and foster a culture of respect and accountability.
