The Clinical Service Liaison (GC) provides clinical customer service and/or interprets variants and writes reports, and abstracts clinical information from patient records. Acts as subject matter expert. β’ Provides clinical customer service and/or interprets variants and writes reports. β’ Acts as subject matter expert for a group of genes, disorders, and/or tests, independently or with support from other clinical team members.
β’ Abstracts clinical information from patient records. β’ Supports projects related to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). β’ May prepare or provide clinical review of materials for website, marketing materials, or other projects. β’ May assist with populating variant, gene, or disease-specific test information, report language, or other clinical information in internal databases. β’ Performs other duties assigned in support of the team or department. Qualifications β’ Masterβs degree from an accredited genetic counseling program.
β’ Prior clinical and/or laboratory experience preferred. β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requirements β’ Certification by American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or equivalent. β’ Genetic counseling licensure in the state where the employee works, if applicable. Physical Demands β’ Light lifting when traveling. Work requires close attention to detail and accuracy. Work Environment β’ Remote office based. Occasional travel may be required. β’ Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-10pm ET or Sunday-Thursday 2-10pm ET.
