Role Description
- We are seeking 4 skilled Marshallese interpreters to provide high-quality medical interpretation services via Video Remote (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic language services team, delivering accurate and culturally sensitive communication in healthcare settings.
- Provide interpretation for Marshallese-speaking clients in medical settings using both VRI and OPI modalities.
- Ensure accurate, professional, and confidential communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Follow standard protocols for medical interpretation and documentation.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
- Qualifications
- Fluency in Marshallese (speaking and comprehension).
- Proven medical interpretation experience.
- Ability to work in both VRI and OPI formats (candidates providing only OPI will not be considered).
- Reliable internet connection and suitable technology for remote interpretation.
- Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare or clinical environments.
- Certification in medical interpretation (advantageous but not required).
