Role Description This role involves the development, coordination, and execution of high-quality scientific publications, congress materials, and medical content that communicate clinical and translational data accurately, compliantly, and effectively. β€’ Support the development and execution of the global medical communication and publication plans aligned with Medical Affairs and clinical program objectives β€’ Author, edit, and manage a range of publication and other medical communication deliverables, including: β€’ Primary manuscripts β€’ Review articles β€’ Abstracts β€’ Slide Decks (MSL and HCP) β€’ Congress posters and oral presentations β€’ Plain language summaries (as applicable) β€’ Ensure content is scientifically accurate, balanced, and aligned with source data β€’ Translate complex clinical, preclinical, and translational data into clear, compelling scientific narratives β€’ Manage internal review, approval workflows, and version control β€’ Partner with Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Commercial (as appropriate), and external medical writers β€’ Support author engagement, including coordinating feedback and revisions with key opinion leaders (KOLs) β€’ Inquiry management – Monitor the inquiry inbox and respond to patient and physician inquiries using approved templates Qualifications β€’ Advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS with relevant experience) β€’ 10+ years of medical or scientific writing experience in publications within biotech, pharma, or medical communications β€’ Demonstrated experience authoring manuscripts, abstracts, and congress materials β€’ Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistics, and data interpretation β€’ Working knowledge of publication ethics and guidelines (ICMJE, GPP) β€’ Experience supporting publications for cell therapy, immunology, or rare/autoimmune diseases β€’ Exceptional scientific writing and editing skills β€’ Strong project management and organizational abilities β€’ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions β€’ High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance β€’ Clear communicator with the ability to manage competing priorities Requirements β€’ Hourly rate: $90/hr-$110/hr β€’ Duration: 12 months, 15-30 hours per week depending on workload Apply tot his job
