Location: PLANT CITY FLORIDA
The General Labor will assist our Machine Operators in the production process. Will provide support by performing general duties which include but are not limited to operating machinery used in the production process, supplying or holding materials or tools as well as cleaning work area and equipment.
Move, stack, and/or pack materials, help with loading and unloading trucks and boxes with rolls/sheets and place products for shipping or storing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ΓΒ Move, stack, and/or pack materials. Help with loading and unloading trucks and boxes with rolls/sheets ? Operate machinery used in the packing process, or assist machine operators
ΓΒ Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping ? Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
ΓΒ Prepare straps / wires for shipments
ΓΒ Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and can be notified to operators
ΓΒ Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines ? Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists (50-80 pounds intermittent)
ΓΒ Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas
ΓΒ Pack and store materials and products
ΓΒ Help production workers by performing duties as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment ? Count finished products to determine if orders are complete
ΓΒ Measure amounts of products, lengths or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications
ΓΒ Separate products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used to produce them
ΓΒ Mark or tag identification on products
ΓΒ Tie products in bundles for further processing or shipment
ΓΒ Record information, such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product production
ΓΒ Unclamp and hoist full reels from braiding, winding, or other fabricating machines, using power hoists
ΓΒ Clean and lubricate equipment
ΓΒ Prepare raw materials for processing
ΓΒ Perform minor repairs to machines
Education & Qualifications:
ΓΒ High School Diploma or GED
ΓΒ Valid driverΓΒs license and acceptable driving record (required)
Work Experience Requirements:
ΓΒ Previous warehouse experience
ΓΒ Machine Operation knowledge (is a plus)
ΓΒ Equipment maintenance (is a plus)
