Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, availability, security, and reliability across production and development environments.
- Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure database security, access control, and compliance
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis
- Support high availability and replication setups
- Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Experience with replication, clustering, and HA setups
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
