    Able to analyze left-censored data.
  • Strategic Client Communication:
Translate statistical methods into actionable, organized reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Methodology Development:
Design and implement data mining strategies to extract meaningful information from fragmented or inconsistent historical records.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

Provide statistical support to a team of Health Physicists, ensuring that dose reconstruction models are statistically sound and defensible.

    Qualifications
  • Master’s in Statistics or Biostatistics, with a strong foundation in data analysis and mathematical statistics. (A Bachelor’s degree may be considered with exceptional professional experience).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in a dedicated statistical or data science role, preferably within a consulting or regulated environment.

  • Consulting Soft Skills:

Demonstrated ability to remain organized, proactive, and articulate when balancing client requests and project timelines.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Domain Knowledge:
Familiarity with Health Physics, environmental monitoring, or radiobiology is a plus, but not required for a candidate with strong statistical fundamentals.
  • Agency Experience:
Prior experience working with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) records systems or similar federal regulatory frameworks (AEC, ERDA).
  • Dose Reconstruction:
Understanding of internal and external radiation exposure monitoring techniques.
  • Security Requirements:

The ability to obtain a D.O.E. credential (U.S. Citizenship required). Applicants must be able to pass a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
