About the position
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Hybrid HR/Administrative Assistant to provide general HR and administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate will assist with employee recordkeeping, onboarding, HR communications, and other administrative tasks in a hybrid environment.
This role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Support benefits, payroll, and HR-related inquiries.
- Maintain HRIS data and ensure accuracy of employee records.
- Manage emails, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.
- Prepare HR and operational reports for management.
- Assist with internal communications and documentation.
- Work with HR, operations, and other teams to support projects and initiatives.
- Ensure timely completion of administrative and HR tasks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and federal employment regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2β4 years of administrative or HR support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Nice-to-haves
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting hybrid or multi-state teams.
