Job Description
We are an established training and education company entering our sixth year in business and are looking for an experienced HubSpot CRM expert to help us audit, clean, and optimize our current HubSpot setup.
Over the past several years we have grown quickly and evolved through multiple technology platforms. We are now at a point where our tech stack is stable, and we want to properly organize our data, rebuild our automations, and fully utilize HubSpot’s capabilities to support the next stage of growth.
Our goal is to transform HubSpot into a clean, automated system that nurtures our audience, supports our marketing campaigns, and provides clear reporting on engagement and revenue.
This will begin as a project-based engagement, with the possibility of ongoing work as we expand our automation and reporting systems.
Current Tech Stack
- HubSpot CRM (recently implemented)
- Webflow website
- Email marketing through HubSpot
- Online community with 10,000 members (Mighty Networks)
- Digital courses, in-person training events, subscriptions
Project Overview
We are looking for someone who can audit our current HubSpot setup, clean up our CRM data, rebuild core automations, and help us design a scalable lifecycle marketing system.
We believe some of our email lists and engagement have gone stale during past platform transitions, and we want to correct that before launching a major upcoming campaign.
Phase 1: CRM Audit & Data Cleanup
Tasks may include:
- Reviewing and organizing our existing HubSpot contact database
- Identifying duplicate or inactive contacts
- Cleaning up list segmentation and contact properties
- Creating clear lifecycle stages (subscriber, community member, customer, etc.)
- Reviewing email health, engagement rates, and deliverability
- Preparing the system for improved segmentation and automation
Phase 2: Automation & Lifecycle Marketing
Help us build a clean automation structure including:
- New subscriber onboarding flows
- Email nurture campaigns
- Customer lifecycle automation
- Event and course marketing workflows
- Re-engagement campaigns for dormant contacts
Phase 3: Reporting & Analytics
We would like assistance creating dashboards that help us track:
- Customer lifecycle progression
- Email engagement
- Lead sources and conversion
- Sales related to campaigns and content
Upcoming Project
We are preparing to launch a new membership model where much of our previously one-time payment digital content will be transitioned into a low monthly subscription offering.
We want HubSpot properly structured so this campaign can be launched with strong automation and clear performance tracking.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has deep experience with HubSpot CRM architecture and automation
- Has completed multiple HubSpot cleanup and automation projects
- Understands RevOps and lifecycle marketing strategy
- Can think strategically about data structure and automation systems
- Is comfortable working with an established brand and audience in the firearms community
Bonus if you have experience with:
- Subscription or membership businesses
- Online education companies
- Community-driven businesses
