About the position
- Responsibilities
- Greet visitors to the Human Services Building (HSB) and check identification.
- Enter visitor information into the database and issue temporary building ID badges.
- Reconcile and audit keycard reports quarterly.
- Assign billing codes and send to Office of Facilities Management (OFM) for payment processing.
- Intake photo ID paperwork for new employees and ensure proper completion.
- Take pictures for photo ID badges and send badge paperwork through Tririga to DAS keycard shop.
- Email employees when their new badge is ready for pickup from the lobby.
- File and maintain paperwork for new and deleted keycards.
- Provide directions to appropriate floor reception and/or conference rooms.
- Assist the public, local governments, contractors, and others seeking information about DHS/OHA and other State Departments.
- Provide information on rules, policies, and procedures concerning agency programs and community resources.
- Monitor building access by checking badges to ensure compliance.
- Requirements
- Two years of experience in customer service.
- One year of experience explaining rules, regulations, and policies and handling unique situations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in providing customer service.
- Experience with written and verbal communication.
- Time management experience.
