Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Data Stage Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL solutions that support enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IBM Info Sphere Data Stage, data warehousing concepts, and performance optimization within large data environments.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM Info Sphere Data Stage
- Build scalable data integration solutions for data warehouse and analytics platforms
- Develop and optimize complex jobs, sequences, and parallel jobs
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, data issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity across pipelines
- Participate in code reviews, deployment, and release processes
- Create technical documentation and maintain ETL standards Required
- Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Info Sphere Data Stage
- Solid knowledge of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional modeling preferred)
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
- Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize ETL processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
