As a Customer Service / Logistics Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, managing logistics operations, and performing administrative tasks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that customers receive their products in a timely manner, resolving any issues that may arise, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our sales team, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Manage logistics operations, including scheduling trucks, coordinating with suppliers, and tracking shipments
- Process orders, calculate charges, and manage payments
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and escalate issues to superiors as needed
- Maintain accurate records, including spreadsheets and customer information
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer inquiries and provide product information
- Participate in cross-training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and reporting

- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Sage, data entry, Excel, and rail websites (CSX & NS)

- Familiarity with hazmat training and regulations
