As a Retail Sales Associate and Pharmacy Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and assisting with various pharmacy-related tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:• Modeling and offering a unique and delightful purchaser experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.• Registering sales on assigned cash registers, providing clients with courteous, honest, friendly, and efficient checkout service.• Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to attain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.• Engaging clients and patients by greeting them, providing help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a superb purchaser experience.• Maintaining counters and shelves smoothly and well-merchandised, taking stock and keeping records, and testing in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader.Customer Experience and OperationsIn addition to your core responsibilities, you will be expected to:• Presents clients with courteous, friendly, speedy, and green carriers, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and efficient.• Recommends items for sale to consumers and recommends alternate-up and/or partner items, utilizing your knowledge of products and services to drive sales and customer satisfaction.• Registers patron purchases on assigned cash sign-in, collects cash and distributes change as asked, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.• Plays responsibilities as assigned through Pharmacy supervisor, workforce Pharmacist, and store manager, including applying pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy.Education and Personal DevelopmentWe are committed to the growth and development of our team members, and we offer comprehensive training programs to ensure your success in this role. You will have the opportunity to:• Earn and maintain PTCB certification via the specific PTCB training program and/or state-required certification/registration.• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by a manager or assigned by corporate, and acquire continuing education credit to maintain your knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.Essential and Preferred QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:• No experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training for all new hires.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner.• Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process sales transactions and handle cash and credit transactions.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.Preferred qualifications include:• Previous retail or customer service experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including the use of pharmacy systems and software.• PTCB certification or state-required certification/registration, with a commitment to maintaining certification and staying up-to-date with industry developments.Skills and CompetenciesTo excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service.• Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process sales transactions and handle cash and credit transactions.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and team members in a friendly and professional manner.• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals.Career Growth Opportunities a
