Job Description
Supervisor - Sales Relief will be responsible for overseeing the business relationship with a group of customers, providing supervision for Merchandisers/distribution team members. This position will maintain accuracy of outlet orders and capture selling opportunities, while ensuring monthly and yearly sales goals are achieved in the most effective manner.
What your day will look like:
ΓΒ High degree of flexibility required to cover open needs of Supervisor - Sales
ΓΒ Generates product orders daily for their customer base and ensures in-stock conditions on all Company products
ΓΒ Provides daily guidance and direction to Merchandisers/distribution team members on all customer needs
ΓΒ Works in partnership with the Merchandisers/distribution team members to execute the picture of success. Establish positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer service
ΓΒ Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they arise
ΓΒ Ability to work with all functional team members
ΓΒ Coordinates all sales activities to ensure the highest level of execution on all marketing initiatives, new product introductions, and overall Picture of Success (PicOS)
ΓΒ Ensures all merchandising and brand standards are executed
ΓΒ Reviews business results with customers on a pre-determined frequency and gains alignment on key business initiatives
ΓΒ Uses survey results to improve execution vs PicOS
ΓΒ Ensures all key business goals are achieved to include volume, revenue, margin, share and execution targets
ΓΒ Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
ΓΒ Build relationships with assigned customers using routines and call frequencies
ΓΒ Responsible for account planning and management of the account list
ΓΒ Merchandises stores
ΓΒ Leads the call for each assigned customer and is responsible for selling in key initiatives such as price, package plan, business results, new brands, promotions and marketing activities
ΓΒ Assist (takes the lead) in the negotiation and renewal of contracts as needed - Customer marketing agreements
What you need to succeed:
ΓΒ Minimum age 18 years old
ΓΒ Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
ΓΒ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
ΓΒ Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
ΓΒ Ability to read, write and speak English
ΓΒ Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
ΓΒ Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
ΓΒ Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
ΓΒ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in this fast-paced environment
ΓΒ Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ΓΒ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
ΓΒ Ability to write simple correspondence
ΓΒ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
ΓΒ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
ΓΒ Ability to problem solve
ΓΒ Frequent standing, walking, and exposure to weather
ΓΒ Ability to quickly learn internal United processes
ΓΒ Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders
ΓΒ Selling knowledge with proven ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs & key initiatives
ΓΒ Knowledge of bottler environment and systems along with business development planning experience preferred
