Luxury Metal Accessories β Industrial Design & Production-Ready Files Project Overview We are creating a luxury accessories brand. Our first product line includes metal accessories / spoon-pendants / bump-straw-pendants
The goal is to design the product from scratch, prepare production-ready files, and deliver a complete manufacturer package suitable for factories on Alibaba. This is a premium / luxury segment project β attention to detail, materials, and finish is critical. βΈ» Scope of Work You will be responsible for industrial design + production preparation.
We will need 3 exclusive pieces of Straws and 3 exclusive pieces of spoons 1οΈβ£ Product Design β’ Create original product design (not copying existing products) β’ Focus on: β’ premium proportions β’ clean geometry β’ luxury feel (minimal, refined, timeless) β’ Design must be suitable for mass production 2οΈβ£ 3D Modeling & CAD Deliverables: β’ 3D CAD files (one of): β’ STEP (.step /.stp) β’ IGES (.igs) β’ High-resolution renders for presentation (optional but preferred) 3οΈβ£ Manufacturing Drawings β’ 2D technical drawings (PDF / DWG): β’ dimensions β’ tolerances β’ wall thickness β’ surface finish notes β’ material callouts 4οΈβ£ Materials & Finish Specification Provide clear recommendations for: β’ Metals (example: stainless steel 304 / 316L, brass) β’ Finishes: β’ mirror polish β’ satin / brushed β’ PVD coating (gold, rainbow, black) β’ Coating thickness & durability notes 5οΈβ£ DFM (Design for Manufacturing) β’ Design optimized for: β’ CNC machining / casting β’ polishing β’ coating β’ Avoid unnecessary complexity β’ Clearly explain: β’ assembly (if any) β’ critical tolerance areas 6οΈβ£ Factory-Ready Package (VERY IMPORTANT) Final delivery must include a single, clear package that can be sent directly to a factory: β’ CAD files β’ Technical drawings β’ BOM (Bill of Materials) β’ Manufacturing notes β’ Surface finish specs β’ Quality control checkpoints βΈ» What We Will Provide β’ Example of product βΈ» What We Expect From You β’ Experience with metal products β’ Experience preparing files for Chinese factories β’ Understanding of luxury product standards β’ Clear communication in English β’ Ability to iterate and refine design βΈ» Nice to Have (Bonus) β’ Experience with jewelry or premium accessories β’ Knowledge of PVD coatings β’ Previous Alibaba factory collaboration β’ Packaging design experience βΈ» Deliverables Summary β
