Job Description
This role is based in Seattle, WA, with additional locations available.
Compensation:
$173,000/year to $245,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
- Responsibilities:
- Design and develop category-defining products.
- Combine usability, aesthetics, and technical insight to solve complex problems.
- Navigate cross-functional teams in a complex environment.
- Conceive elegant, effective ways to address ergonomic and mechanical challenges.
- Contribute concepts and problem solving across one or more projects.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- 10+ years of experience developing consumer electronics or wearable tech products.
- Demonstrated experience in communication, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluid command of Rhino 3D, Solidworks, Creo or NX.
- Experience exploring and refining ideas through 2D visualization and physical prototyping.
- Experience in designing for mass production.
- Thrive in highly ambiguous situations.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing consumer electronics.
