Position Overview TeleMed2U is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Infectious Disease Physician to provide inpatient infectious disease consultations, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention services via telemedicine for California hospital partners. This role combines clinical inpatient consultative care with programmatic ASP/IP oversight, supported by defined response times and a structured fee schedule. Services Provided Inpatient Infectious Disease Services - Inpatient infectious disease consultations for new and established patients - Telemedicine-based inpatient coverage - Infectious disease clinical call coverage during assigned hours Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) - Program development and physician oversight - Evidence-based antimicrobial utilization guidance - Collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams Infection Prevention Program (IP) - Program development and physician oversight - Infection control guidance, surveillance support, and best-practice consultation Work Schedule & Coverage Expectations - Inpatient Telemedicine Coverage: - Monday–Friday - Consultations provided within 24 hours of request - Typical service hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., local patient time zone Licensure Requirement - Board Certified with Active and unrestricted California medical license Practice Model - Fully remote / telemedicine-based service delivery - Collaborative hospital-based environment - Integrated focus on inpatient clinical care, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention leadership Apply tot his job
