Job Description

Welcome to arenaflex – Where People, Products, and Passion Meet

At arenaflex, we are more than a supplier of welding and industrial equipment – we are a trusted partner to the manufacturing, construction, and maintenance communities across the Southeast. Our Valdosta location serves a dynamic market that demands fast, reliable service, knowledgeable product guidance, and a warehouse that runs like a well‑tuned machine. As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a versatile professional who can bridge the front‑of‑house sales floor with the back‑room logistics hub. If you thrive in an environment where every interaction matters and you enjoy a blend of customer‑facing and hands‑on responsibilities, this role is crafted for you.

Position Overview

The Inside Counter Sales, Customer Service & Warehouse Associate is a hybrid role that combines three critical pillars of our operations:

  • Counter Sales & Customer Service: Directly assist customers, answer inquiries, process transactions, and provide technical support.

  • Warehouse Operations: Receive and organize shipments, manage inventory, and operate material‑handling equipment safely.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, inventory, and management teams to ensure a seamless experience for every client.

This position is based in Valdosta, GA, with a standard Monday‑through‑Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM). It is an excellent entry point for individuals looking to build a career in industrial supply, retail sales, or supply‑chain logistics.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating to management when necessary while maintaining a calm, solution‑focused demeanor.

  • Participate in weekly team huddles, sharing insights from the sales floor and the warehouse floor to drive continuous improvement.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new welding technologies, safety equipment innovations, and emerging competitor offerings.

  • Take on special projects such as merchandising displays, inventory optimization initiatives, or community outreach events.

  • Proficiency with inventory analytics, demand forecasting, or supply‑chain optimization tools.

  • Strong written communication skills for drafting clear customer emails and internal reports.
