We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Technology Audio/Visual Technician to join our team at the University of Wyoming. As a key member of our instructional technology team, you will provide technical expertise and support to faculty, staff, and students, ensuring the seamless operation of audio/video systems, media control systems, and instructional technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and service to faculty, staff, and students on the operation and support of audio/video systems, media control systems, and instructional technology
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of audiovisual equipment, including sound, video, projection, and related equipment
- Provide technical support and training on a variety of technology needs, including hand-held devices, wireless technologies, and fixed and mobile computing equipment
- Assist with special requests, customer training, and troubleshooting of audiovisual equipment
- Develop and maintain documentation on the use of classroom technology and equipment for instructors

Requirements:
- Vocational school, on-the-job experience, or associate's degree in a related field
- 2 years of work-related experience in the operation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, computer hardware/software, and wired/wireless networking
- Technical training/experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of work-related experience in a similar technical field
- Technical training or certification in audio-visual equipment, computer hardware/software, and wired/wireless networking
