Farmers District 40 & 94 is the #1 overall Farmers Insurance agency in Michigan, seeking a driven Insurance Agent to join their high-achieving team. The role involves generating new business, building client relationships, and selling a suite of insurance products while benefiting from hands-on training and a clear path to career growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through strategic lead identification, proactive outreach, and closing promising opportunities into loyal, long-standing customer relationships
- Forge powerful client partnerships by delivering tailored insurance reviews and outstanding service
- Sell and cross-sell a suite of industry-leading products: Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance
- Hit and exceed ambitious agency and individual sales targets
- Master our CRM platform to organize leads, execute follow-ups, manage renewals, and keep client records sharp
- Stay on the pulse of product offerings, state regulations, and Farmers Insurance standards
- Team up in a high-energy, success-focused environment
Skills
- Minimum 1 year in sales, customer service, or insurance (preferred)
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and relationship-building talent
- Confidence and energy for outbound calls and closing deals
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and embrace coaching
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licenses (or ability to get licensed quickly)
