Job Description
Farmers District Alabama and Mississippi is seeking an Insurance Sales Producer to join their team. In this role, you will sell Personal and Commercial Property & Casualty insurance, manage client relationships, and provide excellent service while working in a flexible environment that can be in-office, hybrid, or fully remote. Responsibilities Proactively sell Personal and Commercial Property & Casualty insurance to new and existing clients through outbound and inbound activity (phone, text, email, social media, and networking) Quickly build rapport, uncover client needs, present clear solutions, and close business to meet and exceed production goals Manage renewals, cross-sell and up-sell additional lines (auto, home, umbrella, business, etc.) to deepen relationships and grow your book Provide professional follow-up and service so clients feel informed, cared for, and confident in their coverage Document all activity in the agency’s CRM and carrier systems so pipelines, follow-bolthires, and client records stay accurate and organized Skills Confident communicator with a professional phone presence and the ability to explain coverages in simple, clear language Self-motivated and accountable with strong time-management skills, whether working in-office in Mobile, hybrid, or remote Comfortable using technology (CRM, email, video meetings, carrier portals) and open to ongoing training and coaching Property & Casualty license strongly preferred; must be eligible to be appointed in Alabama (current AL P&C license is a plus but not required if you can obtain appointment quickly) Proven sales experience (insurance, financial services, or other consultative sales) OR clear evidence you are a disciplined, coachable high-achiever Benefits Uncapped performance bonuses tied to production, retention, and quality metrics.
