They are seeking an Invoicing Clerk / Accounting Administrator to provide essential administrative and financial support across the branch, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and project administration. Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to divisions within the Calgary office Review, prepare, and issue client invoices with a strong focus on accuracy and timely entry into the system Compile Work in Progress (WIP) reports to support monthly invoicing and financial requirements Prepare reports to support ongoing project administration Track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to support financial accuracy and cash flow management Assist project managers with project controls, financial tracking, analysis, and forecasting Coordinate project setup and closure activities within the system to ensure proper documentation and compliance Perform additional project-related tasks as required to support the team Skills 0–5 years of office experience in invoicing, administrative support, or a related role Completion of a formal accounting program is considered an asset Intermediate understanding of accounting principles is an advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, particularly Excel, Teams, and other related tools Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational, multitasking, and proofreading skills Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining punctuality Professional and personable demeanor, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion Benefits Maternity and parental leave top up program Health and dental coverage RRSP matching Employee & Family Assistance Program Generous bonus plan Educational assistance Mentorship programs Workshops Committee involvement Company Overview McElhanney provides engineering, GIS, remote sensing, landscape architecture, and environmental services.
