We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Officer to join our team. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT & Cyber Security Officer to take ownership of all IT operations and security initiatives across the organization. This hybrid role combines IT infrastructure and cybersecurity management with first-line technical support responsibilities. The ideal candidate will ensure our systems, users, and data remain secure, compliant, and operational while providing responsive, high-quality support to internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Cybersecurity & IT Governance β’ Develop, implement, and maintain all IT and Cyber Security policies across the company. β’ Ensure company-wide adherence to IT and security standards through regular monitoring and enforcement. β’ Maintain network and firewall security configurations in line with best practices. β’ Define and implement password standards, ensuring periodic password rotations and compliance. β’ Conduct quarterly IT and security audits to validate compliance and identify areas of improvement. β’ Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and ransomware risks, and implement preventive measures. β’ Provide ongoing security awareness and training for all staff. β’ Collaborate with leadership to align IT and security objectives with business goals and compliance requirements. IT Infrastructure & Support: β’ Act as the first point of contact for all IT and system support requests via email, chat, or phone. β’ Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner. β’ Manage user accounts, system onboarding, access permissions, and laptop provisioning. β’ Log, track, and prioritize incidents and service requests using the ticketing system. β’ Escalate complex or unresolved issues to second-line or development teams as needed. β’ Perform system health checks and routine maintenance to ensure uptime and performance. β’ Document technical solutions, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for internal reference. β’ Support cloud-based applications, integrations, and SaaS tools used across the company. β’ Provide clear and timely communication to users regarding issue status and resolution. Skills & Qualifications: β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. β’ 3β5 years of proven experience in IT administration, network security, or IT support. β’ Strong understanding of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls). β’ Hands-on experience with endpoint management, firewalls, and security tools. β’ Familiarity with identity and access management, vulnerability management, and audit processes. β’ Proficiency with Windows and macOS environments and IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk). β’ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills. β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. β’ Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT and security operations. Preferred Experience: β’ Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CEH. β’ Experience supporting SaaS platforms, cloud services, or multi-site environments. β’ Knowledge of security protocols, data protection, and compliance best practices. β’ Exposure to healthcare or fintech systems and data integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
