Job Title: Portfolio Manager Industry: CA State Govt. Agency (Healthcare & Public Sector) Location: 100% Remote (work in PST timezone) Certifications Required: PMP (Active), Scrum Master (CSM/SAFe preferred) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead and align a portfolio of strategic initiatives within regulated healthcare and public sector environments. The role requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery expertise across both traditional and Agile project methodologies. Key Responsibilities β’ Oversee a portfolio of healthcare and public sector programs to ensure strategic alignment, delivery performance, and risk mitigation. β’ Provide executive reporting on schedules, budgets, resources, and outcomes. β’ Lead governance frameworks, prioritization processes, and portfolio planning. β’ Drive Agile and Scrum-based delivery alongside traditional project management approaches. β’ Supervise Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams. β’ Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards across initiatives. β’ Partner with stakeholders to manage scope, change, and strategic outcomes. Required Qualifications β’ 7+ years of project/program management experience β’ 3+ years of portfolio or multi-project leadership β’ Active PMP certification required β’ Scrum Master or Agile certification preferred β’ Experience in healthcare systems and public sector environments β’ Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications β’ Experience with large-scale IT modernization initiatives in Healthcare β’ Familiarity with regulated operational environments β’ Experience managing vendors and enterprise budgets ACTIVE PMP CERTIFICATION IS MUST Job Type: Contract Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
