WITRON Group is a leading company in intralogistics and automation, seeking an IT Programmer to support their Logistic Bus System team. The role involves creating technical designs, developing and deploying applications, and collaborating with international teams to improve existing functionalities. Responsibilities Working together with the responsible project lead to create technical designs for our existing WiWMS (Witron Warehouse Management System) applications. Areas of work include for example our host interface, order allocation logic, route planning logic, industrial label printer interface, stock management and limited front end Development, testing, and deployment of change requests, projects, assignments in a collaborative international team environment or working individually on isolated issues If you see something, say something: Supporting and improving existing and/or new applications and functionalities Creation of technical documents and specifications for an end user and developer level Collaborating with our analysts on topics that come up during project ramp-up, development, testing and after final acceptance All hands on deck during on-site project commissioning and ramp-up.

You’ll be working on north American based projects (USA and Canada) Communication with clients in respected field and independent decision-making based on knowledge level Skills Proficiency in PL/SQL (selects, packages, triggers, etc.), alternatively proficiency in SQL at a minimum Working knowledge of.NET Framework and C++/C# programming Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both local and international colleagues and customers in English, across technical and non-technical contexts Great attitude towards solving big problems and a 'Can-Do' attitude Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience combined with some educational experience Experience should include project design, coding, testing, delivery and technical documentation Must be able to travel locally and internationally (up to 25%) Exposure to logistics industry / terminology Exposure to large codebases Benefits
