Job Description

Idaho Power, located in Boise, Idaho, is looking for an IT Technical Systems Analyst to join their Information Technology team. This role involves working on domain-specific solutions, including requirements management, solution assessment, and end-user support, while offering flexible schedules and the opportunity for remote work.


Responsibilities

  • Work on domain specific solution(s)/application(s)
  • Perform solution assessment and validation
  • Elicit, analyze, manage, and communicate requirements
  • Design and document solution(s)
  • Provide end user support
  • Conduct moderate troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain basic reports and queries
  • Perform basic system configuration

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications
  • 2 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 1 year business analyst experience
  • 5 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 3 years business analyst experience
  • Knowledge of business analyst principles
  • Knowledge of requirements management
  • Knowledge of business case development
  • Knowledge of elicitation
  • Knowledge of communication
  • Knowledge of analysis and process modeling
  • Skills in requirements management from planning to execution
