Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Job Coach, located in Catskill, NY, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Job Coach will be responsible for providing job coaching services, developing career plans, offering career counseling, and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their employment endeavors. Daily tasks include guiding individuals to achieve job placements, monitoring their progress, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships to ensure successful job retention.
- Qualifications
- Job Coaching and Coaching skills
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Experience in Career Counseling
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred Seniority level
