Position: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Henderson, NC...
Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Duration: ASAP, 2024 - May 23, 2025
Schedule: Monday Ā Friday, 37.5 hours per week (including bus duties AM/PM)
Caseload/Details:
Ā Caseload: 1:1 care for a high school student with a tracheostomy.
Ā Responsibilities include tracheostomy care, individual health plan or plan of care, health evaluations, and assessments.
Ā The RN or LPN will also be responsible for riding the bus to and from school with the student.
Special Requirements:
Ā RN: Must have experience in tracheostomy care, health evaluations, and reporting to the district nurse supervisor or designee.
Ā LPN: Will be considered if they have tracheostomy experience and are familiar with obtaining doctors' orders for the student. Bill rate for LPN will be based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Provide comprehensive care for a student with a tracheostomy.
Ā Assist with bus duties in the morning and afternoon.
Ā Develop and maintain an individual health plan or plan of care.
Ā Perform health evaluations and assessments as needed.
