Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and updates
- Check patients in for appointments and complete necessary forms
- Register new patients and update established patients
- Verify and collect insurance information
- Screen uninsured patients for alternate coverage options
- Provide administrative support to the Patient Access Department
- Rotate through all Patient Access areas and fill-in wherever needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience providing excellent direct customer service
- 1 year of experience working in a role that required strict attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn various computer systems
