Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support business objectives

- Monitor and ensure the integrity and security of databases, including backup and recovery processes
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decision-making
- Work closely with software developers to integrate database functionality into applications
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of databases for maximum efficiency
- Create and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and errors in a timely manner
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
Requirements:
- Apprentice or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of relational database management systems and SQL principles
- Knowledge of MySQL database administration and development
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience working with database design, normalization, and performance tuning
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control systems
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn continuously in a fast-paced environment
