Work Schedule, Location & Travel Expectations
- The following expectations on work schedule, work location, and travel expectations:
- Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, up to forty (40) hours per week with some options for flex schedule but ensuring at least six hours a day align with WSDOT's standard operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time or Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.
- Work remotely from the candidate's home office within the United States.
- Occasional travel to other WSDOT locations may be required (this travel will be reimbursable in alignment with current state and agency travel policies).
- Mandatory & Desirable Knowledge and/or Skills Mandatory:
- 4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience developing applications
- 4+ years of experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC architecture pattern, and Entity Framework
- 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Reporting Services
- Experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
- Experience using/knowledge of Azure DevOps including source control, code review, build and release pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
- Experience with Microsoft Access and VBA
- Experience / understanding of ETL such as SSIS
- Experience developing with jQuery, Knockout, Bootstrap or Vue.js
- Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS
- Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment
- Proven track record of organizing and managing complex data projects from planning through execution
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
