The Junior Copy Editor & Proofreader is responsible for maintaining the brand's voice by proofreading and editing various types of content to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's tone. Responsibilities Proofread high volumes of digital and print assets (emails, website PDPs, social media, catalog, and retail signage) for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting accuracy Ensure all copy sounds undeniably 'Duluth.' Cross-reference product copy against merchandising data sheets Assist the copy team in optimizing and formatting existing copy for specific platforms Maintain and update the official Duluth Brand Style Guide and terminology glossary Act as a release valve for the copy team by contributing occasional writing during high-demand points in the year Skills Bachelor's Degree Equivalent work experience will be considered Experience: 1–3 years in proofreading, copy editing, or copywriting (in-house retail, e-commerce, or agency experience is a strong plus) The Eagle Eye: You have a borderline obsessive attention to detail. You spot the missing hyphen, the double space, and the incorrect trademark symbol when everyone else is moving too fast The Brand Champion: You appreciate smart, functional storytelling.
