Job Description
Litco Law is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Case Manager to join their dynamic Case Manager department. In this entry-level role, you will support client files and learn about bodily injury claims while working closely with experienced Case Managers and legal team members.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of client files from intake through to resolution
- Work closely with Case Managers, Client Care Specialists, and legal team members to keep files moving forward
- Begin developing your understanding of insurance processes and how to build a strong client file
- Review client information, medical records, and documentation to identify key details
- At times, communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and support them throughout their claim
- Assist with file organization, task management, and administrative components of file handling
- Learn how to assess claim value and contribute to settlement strategies over time
- Build relationships with internal team members and external partners such as insurance adjusters
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and support team efficiency
Skills
- Eager to grow in the personal injury and insurance space
- Bring your current experience managing files or a medical/healthcare background that helps you understand client injuries and recovery
- Passionate about helping people and creating positive client experiences
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn the 'why' behind what you do
- A strong communicator who can build trust with clients and teammates
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
- Thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Interested in pursuing your CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation in the future
