Junior Finance Analyst - Capital Markets (Fintech) – Mexico
The Finance Specialist mission:
As a Jr. Finance Specialist in our Capital Markets team, you'll be at the center of high-impact, strategic financial decisions. Your work will help shape Baubap’s growth trajectory by supporting fundraising efforts, conducting insightful financial analyses, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
You’ll work with a diverse, high-performing team to secure funding from a variety of sources including equity, structured debt, and unsecured lending—while contributing directly to Baubap’s mission of financial inclusion in Latin America.
This is a high-ownership, hands-on role ideal for someone analytical, proactive, and excited to grow quickly in a dynamic fintech environment.
- The expected outcomes:
- Enable management to make informed decisions through compelling, data-driven analysis.
- Contribute to equity fundraising efforts and lender negotiations with robust financial support and insights.
- Facilitate the company’s growth by ensuring strategic initiatives are well-structured and efficiently executed.
- Provide actionable financial insights that align with long-term growth, sustainability, and capital-raising goals.
- The day to day tasks:
- Maintaining KPIs and relevant information up to date so management and investors alike understand the company’s performance
- Maintain order and control over Baubap’s data archives so information can be readily accessed
- Understand the company’s funding needs by collaborating with the other areas in finance
- Keep track of financial covenants from each of the lenders’ contracts
- Why You should apply:
- You have a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- You bring +2 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Fintech
- You possess strong knowledge of financial statements and the ability to go beyond surface-level analysis.
- You have advanced Excel skills, or other data tools is a strong plus.
- You’re fluent in English—both written and spoken

- You have excellent communication skills and a strong sense of urgency—both essential to collaborate effectively in a 100% remote and distributed environment.
