Job Description
LaBella Associates is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Geotechnical Staff Engineer position. The role involves performing geotechnical field investigations, assisting in managing subcontract services, and preparing engineering reports. Responsibilities Perform geotechnical field investigations. This may include boring layouts, drilling inspections, and running geophysical surveys Coordinate and assist with managing the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples Perform geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase, as needed Assist in preparing geotechnical engineering reports Participate in meetings with design team, stakeholders, and clients Skills 0 to 2 years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field EIT license is a plus Effective verbal and written communication Driver's License Required Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects
This position occasionally requires carrying 50-70 pounds Education Requirements B.S.
