Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA 30309

Salary: ~ +/- $70K – $110K (Depending on experience)

Employment Type: Direct Hire / Perm / FTE

About the Opportunity

Our client, a fast-growing general contractor exclusively performing work for Dewberry Capital, is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent to oversee vertical construction projects in Midtown Atlanta. This is a career-defining opportunity to work on high-profile, large-scale urban expansion projects, including a six-story addition to a 21-story high-rise and surrounding new construction.

Key Responsibilities

    Project Oversight & Execution
  • Lead and manage all phases of vertical construction, from site preparation through final finishes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve challenges to maintain strict project schedules and milestones.
    Leadership & Coordination
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to maintain seamless operations.
  • Conduct daily and weekly site meetings to address progress, challenges, and job assignments.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project objectives are met.
    Quality Control & Safety Compliance
  • Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe job site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections for quality control, identifying and addressing deficiencies.
  • Implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain safety and quality standards.
    Scheduling & Logistics
  • Develop and manage project timelines, material deliveries, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor construction progress, maintain documentation, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices, timesheets, and change orders.
    Who We're Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent with vertical construction experience (10+ story commercial/mixed-use buildings).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Leadership Qualities: Able to lead in the field, command respect, and problem-solve under pressure.
  • Detail-Oriented: Highly organized and meticulous with construction layout, safety, and documentation.
  • Personality: Calm, professional, and respectful, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Career-Driven: Eager for growth, with a goal of advancing into Field Engineer, Superintendent, or Project Manager roles.
  • Spanish Language Skills: Ability to communicate in Spanish is a huge plus or willingness to learn.
