With Vituity, if you ever need to move, you can take your job with you.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3E%26nbsp;%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22color:#000000;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EThe Opportunity%3C/strong%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EFacilitate the efficient flow of the department to include the following:%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist with calls to clinics, other hospital facilities, and patients’ families.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist with taking messages and directing message to appropriate person in the department%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWalk service dogs.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERespond to nurse call lights and inform the appropriate staff of patients’%26nbsp;needs.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide comfort items to patients%26nbsp;(water, blankets, etc.)%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStock non-medication supplies in the department.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssemble urine collection kits.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOrganize nutritional supplies, linen carts, equipment, and utility rooms.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOrganize equipment and utility rooms, notify staff of any faulty equipment.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist with cleaning rooms after each patient is discharged.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERetrieve wheelchairs and return to appropriate locations; provide wheelchair assistance.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETransport specimens to lab if needed.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECall lab/radiology to inquire about lab results.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECommunicate with RN regarding patients ready for discharge, that all results are completed and patient ready for re-evaluation.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ENotify RN of inpatient bed assignment and assist with getting patient ready for transport.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist staff and patients with the following duties upon formal training:%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWeigh patients, obtain patient vital signs, assist with patient transport.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReconnect patients to telemetry monitoring and pulse ox.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPatient Sitter.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EUnit Secretary duties.%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOversee day-to-day needs of the Clinical Care Coordinators.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EComplete and manage monthly schedules for the Clinical Care Coordinators.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork collaboratively with Recruiting, Onboarding, and People Operations teams regarding staffing and performance management.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview timecards for accuracy and approve timecards.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EConduct evaluations as required by site.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETrain new Clinical Care Coordinators%26nbsp;on%26nbsp;their role and responsibilities.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERegularly report to the Site Program Manager regarding performance, problems, and/or successes of the Clinical Care Coordinators.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EHelp communicate employee changes to central office such as status changes and separations.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure all Clinical Care Coordinators on roster are within compliance by the deadlines set by company annually.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22color:#000000;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3ERequired Experience and Competencies%3C/strong%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EHigh school diploma or GED required.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPre-med or nursing related courses (upper division Anatomy or Physiology is a plus) preferred.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification if required by assigned Site preferred.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnowledge of medical terminology preferred.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOne year of experience as a Clinical Care Coordinator preferred.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EStrong writing skills: legibility and spelling proficiency required.%26nbsp;%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProfessional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExcellent organizational skills.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnowledge of facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnowledge of HIPAA regulations%26nbsp;.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnowledge of Privacy Policies regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) as set forth in the Privacy Policy Manual%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22color:#000000;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EThe Community%3C/strong%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEven when you are working remotely, you are an important part of the Vituity Community.
