Job Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished Lead Data Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric to define and drive enterprise data architecture strategy. This role requires strong ownership of end-to-end data platform design, lakehouse architecture, data governance, and large-scale cloud data transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Azure data services, and distributed data systems, along with the ability to lead architectural decisions, mentor teams, and deliver scalable, high-performance data platforms across enterprise environments.
- Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise data architecture strategy using Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystem.
- Architect and implement Lakehouse solutions (Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Delta tables).
- Design and optimize data warehouse solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
- Lead end-to-end design of ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks.
- Establish architectural standards for data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
- Architect solutions supporting analytics, BI, real-time data processing, and AI/ML workloads.
- Drive modernization initiatives from legacy systems to Fabric-based cloud-native architectures.
- Define and implement data governance, lineage, metadata management, and security frameworks.
- Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct architecture reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor senior engineers.
- Define enterprise-level standards for data quality, observability, and operational governance.
