Job Summary

We are seeking a highly accomplished Lead Data Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric to define and drive enterprise data architecture strategy. This role requires strong ownership of end-to-end data platform design, lakehouse architecture, data governance, and large-scale cloud data transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Azure data services, and distributed data systems, along with the ability to lead architectural decisions, mentor teams, and deliver scalable, high-performance data platforms across enterprise environments.

Define and lead enterprise data architecture strategy using Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystem.
Architect and implement Lakehouse solutions (Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Delta tables).
Design and optimize data warehouse solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
Lead end-to-end design of ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks.
Establish architectural standards for data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
Architect solutions supporting analytics, BI, real-time data processing, and AI/ML workloads.
Drive modernization initiatives from legacy systems to Fabric-based cloud-native architectures.
Define and implement data governance, lineage, metadata management, and security frameworks.
Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
Conduct architecture reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor senior engineers.
Define enterprise-level standards for data quality, observability, and operational governance.
