Job Responsibilities
As a Lead Math Instructor and Tutor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching, and collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Communicating student progress with parents and guardians
- Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
- Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed as a Lead Math Instructor and Tutor, you'll need:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
- All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
